Charlie Herbert, U.S. singles champion 2019 (and 2018-2017):
Even though Charlie lives in California, he frequently comes to Asheville to see his parents. Just this past week, he was at the green working on his game in preparation to go to Australia for the Tournament of Champions. He says that the ALBC has the “best artificial surface green in the U.S.” and that we should expect other nationally ranked bowlers to visit in preparation for other events.

Steve lives down the hill in Greenville but frequently drives up to Asheville during the Fall, Winter & Spring months before going to Canada for the Summer. When at the green, he continues to provide tips to all who bowl with or against him on how to improve one’s game.
